The provision of financial services by DEPFA and its subsidiaries is organised according to the two business segments of the Hypo Real Estate Group, Public Sector and Infrastructure Finance, which looks after DEPFA’s core client groups and Capital Markets and Asset Management, which focuses on product development and structuring. DEPFA First Albany Securities LLC is a seperate regulated legal entity fully owned by DEPFA BANK plc and reports into both above mentioned segments (for further information on segmental reporting in the HRE Group refer to the 2007 Annual Report).
